Annual meeting of the
Tulsa Interfaith Alliance
7:15 p.m.
Thursday, May 20
All Souls Unitarian Church

Frank Schaeffer, a progressive commentator and the author of Keeping Faith and Crazy for God, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s annual meeting of the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance. In Crazy for God, Schaeffer recounts his childhood at the Swiss spiritual retreat operated by his parents, luminaries of the conservative evangelical movement. Once a leader of this movement himself, Schaeffer has evolved into a powerful critic of the entanglement of politics and religion and of all species of fundamentalism. He has appeared on NPR, CNN, and MSNBC, and is a prolific blogger for the Huffington Post. His most recent book is entitled Patience with God.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 851-9976 or 292-8457.
