Event Description

Tai Chi Class
"Dont Just Live Longer..Live Better"

Tai chi chuan is an art that has it's roots in the mountains and river valleys of ancient China. For many centuries this beatiful and powerful art has been refined by its practitioners to create a martial art that is both excellent exercise and effective self defense.
The class includes sets of movements called "forms", some simple but effective self defense practices, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.
All that is required is comfortable clothing, an open mind ,and a willingness to learn and to enjoy the company ogf a great group of interesting people.
Come join us and feel better in the body you live in!

Bob Borowitz's Tai Chi class is one of the longest running programs of Peace House Tulsa. A part of your donations in support of the Tai chi class help defray the cost of maintaining Peace House Tulsa.

Peace House-Tulsa is an incubator for peace and justice. The Peace House office inside the UU Church of the Restoration can host a wide range of activities: classes, discussion groups, meditation, music-making, social gatherings, retreats, etc. While some activities may be limited by the size and amenities of this building, our imaginations need not be limited!
