Can the Problem of Child Soldiers
Be Addressed by U.S. Asylum Laws?

in Room 108 of the Sarkeys Law Center at Oklahoma City University

Please join us for this informative presentation at
Oklahoma City University.

Professor Christina Misner-Pollard will be speaking on
ways in which the use of child soldiers can or cannot be
addressed by U.S. asylum laws. She has recently com-
pleted an article on this topic.

The program is being presented by the OCU International Human Rights Law Association. It is being offered in conjunction with the OCU Distinguished Speaker Series.

Professor Misner-Pollard runs the Immigration Law Clinic at Oklahoma City University School of Law. She teaches the substantive immigration law course at the law school, as well. Prior to her move to Oklahoma,
she taught substantive immigration law as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law. She also is a frequent speaker on domestic violence, family law, and access to justice issues.
