Anti-War Rally in Tulsa, Sunday, 8th Sept 2013, @ 71st & Memorial, 11:30 am

Sunday, 8th Sept 11:30am

71st and Memorial, in Tulsa

  • In a news conference Saturday (31st Aug) the President stated that he has decided to seek the approval of congress before attacking Syria.

The Constitution is clear, only congress is to declare war and that is exactly what we will be doing if President Obama decides to attack Syria.

As of now a vote on intervention in Syria will likely take place sometime before September 13th.

We are urging everyone in the First Congressional District of Oklahoma which includes Tulsa County, Washington County, Wagoner County, and parts of Rogers County and Creek County, to call and email Congressman Bridenstine and let him know that we are adamantly against any type of intervention in Syria!

When you call his office please be courteous and respectful to the person who answers the phone. Simply state that you are against any type of intervention in Syria and that you would like for the congressman to vote against any such action.

"The constitution supposes, what the History of all Governments demonstrates, that the Executive is the branch of power most interested in war, & most prone to it. It has accordingly with studied care, vested the question of war in the Legislature." ~ James Madison
