Thank you, Tulsa, for all your support. Many, many "honks for peace" this weekend, and too many peace signs flashed by passers by for us to count.

Thank you to all of you who attended this Saturday's antiwar demo. We had four new people attend, this month's peace vigil. A special thank you to our diminutive activist, with her beautiful rendition of John Lennon's "All we are saying... Is give peace a chance."

Unfortunately, there's always one crank, it seems. This month a 50-something in a Lexus bothered to slow down to yell at one of our activists. He chose to yell at our most elderly in the group, a 68-year Libertarian, joining us for the first time. And what did he yell at her? Outdated epithets from the Cold War. Give it a break, cold-warrior curmudgeons, the Cold War ended last century!

P.S. Also of interest, we were videotaped/interviewed by an amateur/professional videographer doing a cross-country tour, at this month's antiwar demo. He videotaped the girls demonstrating for peace, and then he interviewed each of us individually, including the four newcomers. He and his wife were in Little Rock, Arkansas, just prior to their short stop in Tulsa. He and his wife were then headed for Amarillo TX, to be followed by Albuquerque, NM, then various points in California, before returning to their home base in Pennsylvania.
