The Steering Committee meets at 6:00 PM

1. Ongoing Business

A. Book/Movie/Pamphlet/Video Exchange
B. Review of this month's past anti-war demo “U.S. Out of Afghanistan!!” 3rd Oct 2009. The same theme is planned for our next monthly antiwar demo, on the first Saturday in November.
C. Review of training session held 23 Sept, organized by the Quakers, to provide orientation for volunteers working on the upcoming anti-war memorial, 17th & 18th October
C. Organizing for the upcoming memorial displaying the boots of the fallen, from Iraq & Afghanistan.

We have been asked to help set up, attend, watch over, and dismantle the event, on both days, in shifts of two hours each. Volunteers still needed.

TPF hopes to add an anti-war photo exhibit, inside the church, as an addition to the boot display outdoors.

American Friends Service Committee’s “Eyes Wide Open” boot display.
