Please join us in the decision making and planning of our activism.


1. Ongoing Business

A. Book/Movie/Pamphlet/Video Exchange

B. Consensus building practices:

Putting into practice one of Gandhi’s key principles: that each of us possesses a piece of the truth

C: Measuring success as a social movement

2. New Business

A. American Friends Service Committee’s “Eyes Wide Open” boot display. Guest speaker: Don Satterthwaite

B. Situating TPF as community partner for Youth PROMISE Act. viz. courses in Non-Violent Communication (NVC)

C. Theme for next monthly antiwar demo in August

3. Activities/Events

9th July: TCDP is planning protests in front of both Sen Coburn and Sen Inhofe's Tulsa offices, for NOON on Thursday 9 July. TPF members should be able to brandish their "Healthcare not Warfare" signs at this event.

11th July: Know Your Rights Workshop
"Concerned about Ongoing Abuses Against Our Community? Don't Be a Victim. Protect Yourself, Your Family and Your Community!"
This event is planned to start at 7:00 pm on Saturday, Jul 11, 2009 at Islamic Society of Tulsa.

4. Open Discussion (time permitting)
