Tulsa Peace Fellowship monthly meeting.

It's a Thursday evening, held at Peace House Tulsa, inside the UU Church of the Restoration, 1314 N. Greenwood Ave., just north of OSU-Tulsa/Langston campus.

A. Review of previous weekend's TPF Monthly anti-war demo on July 3rd and of TPF gathering at July 4th festivities at Veteran's Park, Tulsa

B. TPF exposure online:
TPF President signed petition on 18th June online, "Safe Passage For The Jewish Boat To Gaza" http://www.PetitionOnline.com/ajjp2010/

C. Planned TPF presence at MLK Parade, January 2011.

D. TPF fundraising.

E. TPF President to go to “Netroots Nations.” Help needed defraying travel & meals. Donations gladly accepted.

F. Planned TPF screening of film “Occupation 101” in response to the apartheid regime in Israel/Palestine. Date to be announced.

G. TPF Code of Ethics.

H. TPF exposure in print

Worldwide: Aug 6th 65th anniversary of Hiroshima attack by U.S.

Fort Benning, Georgia: The November Vigil to Close the School of the Americas (SOA) will be held from November 18-21, 2010. “SHUT DOWN THE SOA AND RESIST U.S. MILITARIZATION IN THE AMERICAS”

This event repeats every month on the Thursday after the first Saturday monthly protest.
Please join us in the decision making and planning of our activism.
If you'd like something on the agenda, please contact TPF Steering Committee at least 24 hours before the meeting, to get your item added to the agenda.

We welcome grassroots participants. Active members will be invited to join the Steering Committee.

It's important that you attend, so that we can achieve quorum.

It's also important that we finish by 8pm, at the latest, due to other pressing business. Please arrive by 6pm.

The Tulsa Peace Fellowship is a registered non-profit in the State of Oklahoma.
