Dr. Jill Stein, Green Party US candidate for US President, argues that 1 million Iraqis killed in Bush-Cheney era only "fanned the flames" of terrorism.
She calls instead for a peace offensive, a weapons embargo to all combatants in the Middle East, and a 50% reduction in U.S. military spending, including the roll back of U.S. military bases worldwide. She also argues for the cancellation of the F-35 fighter plane and for the cancellation of the $1 trillion modernization plan Obama has authorized for U.S. nuclear weapons.
