Event Description

Sorry for last minute change, but the meeting is postponed now until next week. The meeting will now be Friday 22nd July, to start at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Join us for discussion and setting priorities for the next 3 months. We meet inside the UU Church of the Restoration, in the Greenwood District, just north of downtown.

Assigned reading this quarter is about NATO's new "strategic concept" (12pp).

The recent NATO summit was expanded for the first time to include the Asian “sentinel states” that the U.S. has provided with advanced high-precision weapons to “encircle” China.
Accordingly, the Atlanticist powers of NATO have expanded to include the newly created Indo-Pacific region, a vast area where security concerns are held to arise.

Also on the agenda: Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine and ongoing occupation of part of the country.
