Event Description

TPF is looking for volunteers to table information about peace, for Earth Day. Event is on Saturday April 23.

We find ourselves facing global crises on every level and we know that the military-industrial complex is driving the disruption of our civil and environmental peace and safety.

How can we dismantle the War Machine?
How can we Build The Peace Machine?
We want to build parallel structures and alternative systems that open a pathway to a sustainable and just civilization.
We have to find a way to change the way our society works, so that people are more important than profit.
Let's brainstorm together to imagine ways we can peacefully bring about the new model of our community based society.
Join us in exploring the possibilities of building a better tomorrow for all life on earth - protecting vulnerable communities, endangered wildlife and wilderness; ensuring fair access to health care, clean food, air, water, and education for all; reining in destructive practices in industry and government; responding to the very real and imminent existential danger of the climate crisis by moving into the future of renewable power generation.
Help us! Let's join together!
