Event Description

In keeping with the recommended or required #StayatHome protocols during the pandemic, TPF will meet online for our quarterly meeting, on Friday April 17th 2020.  We'll be using Google Hangouts, and you'll be sent an email invitation or reminder to join the discussion online.

We'll start at 5:30pm, our usual start time.  Please put the date and time on your calendar now, and set yourself a reminder to attend.

Virtual meetings could be good to reach a wider audience, in all of Eastern Oklahoma.  If you haven't been able to attend TPF in person, now is your chance to check in via our online meeting.

We had hoped to hear from more of you from outside Tulsa County, for the videoconference. Muskogee, are you there? Ft. Gibson, are you still there? GoogleHangouts is free to use, and provides a good set of tools for distant socializing, during the pandemic, or for long-distance communication across all of Green Country.

TPF is the sole peace-activism organization in all of eastern Oklahoma, so if you're in eastern Oklahoma (OKCD2, including Kiamichi Country), feel free to join the next videoconference. Just send us a message that you're interested in joining the online conversation, and you'll receive an invitation to join the video session.

If you have any thoughts about that long chapter from Melman or the article summarizing his argument in The Humanist magazine, feel free to post here on the listserv (for internal correspondence), or post publicly in the facebook discussion group (for general consumption, public group).

There is also a thread for book reviews on our Ning site, if that suits.
