NASA'S PLUTONIUM-POWERED ROVER CURIOSITY presents threat to all earth

the Plutonium-238 used on board the Mars rover launcher is 270 times more radioactive than the isotope used in nuclear bombs: Plutonium-239.
Further information from NASA own Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The Atlas 5 rocket could easily blow up on launch, contaminating a 60-mile wide area in Florida. An explosion at higher altitudes or the re-entry of the probe crashing back to earth would present a health threat to all earthlings.
