Tulsa Monthly Vigil to end the endless occupation of Afghanistan

We're coming up on 12 months of continuous monthly vigils to end the war in Afghanistan, unfurling the "U.S. Out of Afghanistan" banner at the corner of 41st & Yale, on the first Saturdays of the month.

This past Saturday was a VERY positive experience for all TPF members who participated. We particularly appreciated the expressions of affection and gratitude from Tulsans driving by. e.g. "Thank yous" from many, and a "we love you" from a couple. A special thanks goes out this month to the carload of young Tulsans waving their peace signs enthusiastically, out the windows and even out the sunroof!

With so much enthusiasm from Tulsans for our message or for our organization, maybe it's time we stepped up this campaign.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Come join us for our organizational meeting this Thursday, Sept 9th, at the Church of the Restoration, 1314 N. Greenwood Ave, Tulsa, located just north of OSU-Tulsa/Langston Univ campus. Meeting starts at 6:15 pm

If you join us for our monthly vigil, you'll only have to put up with about 1-to-2 cranks per hour. the ratio of supporters to detractors is about 99-to-1.
