Why do you want to join?
Violence is not a way to solve a problem. I'm against this war we are in and have been since the start. After the sad loss of my brother, Jeffrey Henthorn, I have been even more compelled to voice my opinions on matters that have seemed to become all but forgotten by not only Americans, but by the world, as well. Against my families wishes, I spoke up about the tragedies falling upon our service men and women who suffered from invisible wounds derived from combat. After Jeff's story was published by THe Hartford Courant, finally America was ready to listen. Though it was not easy to do what I did, I've learned that MY voice can make a difference in the world. I would like to join because I believe that there is power in numbers, and the more people that are willing to go against the grain and speak out against inhumanities of this world are the ones help shape a better place for all mankind.

Thank you for joining TPF. We worked hard this past month trying to raise the profile of Oklahoma's forgotten war casualties, through the Eyes Wide Open exhibit.

The thoughtful reply you provided to the question "Why do you want to join?" is at present kept 'private' as part of the default setting. If you'd like to post it to the blog / forum, please feel free to do so.
