Back to School in Syria as Threat of US Strike Subsides-09-16-2013

Cycle of violence has been halted, at least temporarily, at least in part. The purveyors of violence have been shamed into respecting international norms, under pressure from antiwar movements across the globe and diplomatic initiatives.

Thousands of Syrian school children started their academic year on time on Sunday, after concern abated that schools would not open on schedule due to threats of a U.S. military strike.
