There are already (in only 3 years) 75 cases of thyroid cancer/suspected cancer among Fukushima children, some with lymph node metastasis. Acute leukemia cases have been reported, though the Japanese government stopped taking statistics. It is vital that there be social support for families to relocate from homes and communities that have been contaminated by radioactivity that has, and continues to come from the Fukushima Daiichi reactor site operated by TEPCO. Unfortunately there is a contingent of radiation-deniers in Japan that is doing the opposite.
