Tulsa Peace Fellowship

There never was a good war or a bad peace. ~Ben Franklin

Less than 2 months until this summer's National Catholic Conference on Peacemaking in Chicago? Are you in?

If you haven't registered yet, you can register online today and still receive the early conference discount rate (through June 1). Click here to register right now!

We're so excited about this summer's conference! From a great line-up of speakers--including Rev. Bryan Massingale, author of Racial Justice and the Catholic Church and current president of the Catholic Theological Society of America; Jack Jezreel, founder and director of JustFaith Ministries; and Dr. Megan McKenna, author, storyteller and Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace--to the honoring of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) with the Eileen Egan Peacemaker Award, we think this just an incredible opportunity for Catholics who are working to change the world.

But what really elevates these conferences is the participation of people like you--activists and advocates for justice and peace rooted in the gospel which Jesus proclaimed. We hope you'll join us, but we hope you'll invite your friends and colleagues to come too.

This conference is always about growing our movement. Can you help grow our movement?

Please share this email with anyone you know who may be interested--friends, co-workers, family members, students, community members and others--asking them to join us July 16-18, in Chicago.

There's an easy "Forward email" button at the bottom of this email, so it only takes a few seconds of your time.

The conference has something for everyone:

* A pre-conference retreat for students and young adults focused on "gospel nonviolence" with Rev. John Dear, S.J.
* Tracks on peace-building in your parish led by JustFaith Ministries, anti-racism led by Pax Christi USA's Anti-Racism Team, student organizing on campus, and the spirituality of nonviolence
* An action being planned in conjunction with the 8th Day Center for Justice in downtown Chicago
* Music, liturgy, exhibitors, and so much more!

Information is being added weekly to the conference page on our website and if you're on Facebook, you can follow conference preparation on the event page on FB.

Hope to see you in Chi-town in 8 weeks!
In Christ's peace,

Johnny Zokovitch
