Event Description

We'll be meeting online (not "in person") using Google Hangouts (Google Meet). You can get ready for the meeting by pre-installing the app on your phone or tablet, or familiarizing yourself with the computer interface by logging into your Gmail account and calling a friend for a videochat (use the "start meeting" button).

At the right time on the right day, use the link provided here to "join meeting". Try this link: https://hangouts.google.com/group/uqttC3u6112Ynp7L7

Agenda items include: the war in Yemen, the attempted coup in D.C. on Jan 6th at the Capitol, the coming into legal force of the Treaty of the Prevention of Nuclear Weapons.  Other agenda item TBA. If you have a suggestion for an agenda item, please post it below, in a comment, or contact the TPF Secretary.

There is a formal Steering Committee (or "board") at TPF but if you're interested in joining the steering effort, just let us know what you can add to the Fellowship. We're looking to build our team in NE Oklahoma.

TPF does not have any colocated members who think of themselves as the “team” and therefore, all remote teammates are first-class members, wherever they call in from in northeast Oklahoma. By joining the meeting, you'll be treated as a first-class member, whether you're from Tulsa, Claremore, Broken Arrow, Muskogee, Vinita, or points further afield.

We're looking for someone to set the vibe with an online welcome ceremony. All ideas are good. You need not be a gnu, or wear Buddhist robes, or play the recorder, or be able to levitate!
